Dastek Dyno

XO Power have invested in a Dastek 2wd rolling road dynamometer to enable accurate in-house data capture of the vehicles we repair / maintain, upgrade, tune and develop. Whilst a vehicle is 'driven' on the dyno the computer logs information such as power, torque, boost and air fuel ratio but can be configured to record many more parameters. The Dastek dyno can be used to measure the performance of 2wd (front or rear), as well as well as bikes and is rated to 800bhp per axle.

Dyno  Runs

To accurately measure the power output of your car takes about 10 minutes and is offered to all customers visiting XO POWER or can be booked in advance.

£45  for a stand alone power run, including a print out of your graph.

£70 for 2 runs - before/after upgrade, including print outs.


Dyno time

Should your car require time on the dyno for diagnostics, tuning, running in or testing, we make an hourly charge for the dyno and operator of £75 +vat per hour.

Enthusiast Dyno / Rolling Road Days

At XO POWER we offer the chance for your car club, group or forum to have a friendly dyno competition. Unlike some dyno days where each car gets 2 pulls on the dyno at the most, XO operate dyno days slightly differently. Each car is treated to around 10 minutes of dyno time, to allow the dyno operator to get the most out of your vehicle ensuring everyone gets a fair shot. Moreover, not only power and torque but also boost and air fuel ratio are always monitored so as to provide real and effective data for full and fairer comparisons. The dyno is always operated by Qualified Personel so you can be assured that your vehicle is in safe and experienced hands. At the end of the run  will take time to discuss your car's performance.

Dyno days cost in the region of £42 +vat per car depending on numbers
